Trooper & Kim Mitchell
December 17, 2016

Doors 6 pm | Show 8 pm
Tickets Start at: $39.99

Trooper
It goes like this: millions of records, a couple dozen hits, a Juno Award (Canada's Grammy) for Band of the Year and ongoing sold-out shows across Canada. Universal Music acknowledges them as "one of Canada's top five selling bands of all time" and the Vancouver Sun has called them "Canadian rock heroes of the first order ... the best performing band in Canada".

Trooper's ten studio albums have earned multiple gold and platinum awards and their 6 X Platinum greatest hits, Hot Shots, continues to be one of Universal Music Canada's bestselling catalog CDs and one of the country's most enduring party soundtracks. In celebration of the band's 35th anniversary, a totally updated and re-mastered collection - "Hits From 10 Albums" - was released, featuring songs spanning the entirety of their recording career. John Kereiff, writing in Gonzo Magazine, dubbed the collection "THE summer album of 2010."

In 2012 Trooper songwriters Ra McGuire and Brian Smith were awarded SOCAN's prestigious 'National Achievement Award' to acknowledge their significant and lasting contribution to Canada's songwriting legacy.

Dan Brisbois of canadianbands.com writes, "They've won practically every Canadian music award possible and they've been dubbed 'Canada's Greatest Party Band' ... and rightfully so." Bob Mersereau, author of The Top 100 Canadian Albums wrote, "Trooper's Hot Shots has been one of the biggest-selling albums in Canadian music history. It has gone six times platinum, and sells consistently, as do tickets to Trooper gigs. There are clubs and festivals across the country where the annual Trooper show is practically an official holiday." Indeed, Trooper continues to consistently sell out shows across the country - often performing for three generations of fans - demonstrating that the band and its music remain borderless, timeless, and ageless.

It's no exaggeration to say that Trooper has become a Canadian legend. They continue to perform their huge collection of hits with the vitality and sense of humor that has served them well on their steady march through the hills and valleys of Canadian Rock and Roll.

Kim Mitchell
Canadian rock icon Kim Mitchell sings those lines on his personal mission statement, "Rock N Roll Duty" and he's still doing exactly that, energy and enthusiasm intact. For Mitchell, that's what it's all about, not the money, the fame or the trophy case.

Singer-songwriter and guitarist, Kim Mitchell, has achieved gold and multiplatinum sales status over a long and storied career, starting early on as leader of the musically eclectic Max Webster, a band who in the late 70's defined "alternative" and "independent" long before the words became clichés. Mitchell has sold over 1.5 million recordings and toured regularly over a lengthy solo career that remains creatively vibrant to this day.

Mitchell has the respect of peers, fans, and industry types alike. Just what does he consider his greatest achievement? "Shoot, that's easy," says Kim, "it's in the couple of hours the band is onstage, being able to take people to a special place through our performance and music. When that happens, I've accomplished what I set out to do." Legions of Canadian fans agree!

Wayne Brady
January 14, 2017

Doors 7 pm | Show 9 pm
Tickets Start at: $49.50

Wayne Brady, music and comedy has seemed to be at the center of his wildly successful and diverse career. Wayne has been entertaining audiences with his singing, acting and unmatched improvisational skills for well over a decade. This diversity has led to a career that goes beyond the term "triple threat."

Brady began his career in Orlando working at theme parks as well as performing in several local theatre shows. This is where his love for improvisation was sparked as he was a member of the Orlando improv comedy theater, SAK Comedy Lab.

In 1998, his career took off with "Whose Line is it Anyway?" for which he won a 2003 Emmy Award for Outstanding Individual Performance in a Variety, Musical or Comedy Series. The show returns this year with all new episodes. Wayne went on to host his own syndicated talk show "The Wayne BradyShow" for two seasons. He was honored with two Emmys for Outstanding Talk Show Host and the show also won Outstanding Talk Show.

In 2005, Brady returned to his first love, musical theater, and starred in the Broadway production of "Chicago," playing the role of lawyer BillyFlynn. He made a big splash in Las Vegas with his hit stage show "Makin' It Up." The show was met with critical acclaim and has been heralded as "puregenius" and "hysterically funny." Brady has taken the show around the world playing in such countries as South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and India. Wayne again returned to the live theater in 2010 when he joined the all-star cast in the Neil Patrick Harris directed "Rent" at the historic Hollywood Bowl.

Conquering stage and television was not enough for this unique talent. He was nominated for a Grammy in 2008 for his Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance for his single "A Change Is Gonna Come," off debut album "A Long Time Coming." In addition, Wayne released a children's album entitled "Radio Wayne" which took the top spot on iTunes and Amazon kids charts.

On the big screen, Brady has been featured in several films including: "Crossover," "Roll Bounce," for Fox Searchlight as well as the animated film "Food fight."

Being an award winning host, it is no wonder why he has been tapped tohost several high-profile shows including the NAACP Awards, BET Honors as well as guest hosting The Late Late Show for a week earlier this year. His hosting role on the iconic "Let's Make A Deal" has been garnered with several Emmy nominations including Wayne for hosting.

Howie Mandel

Tickets Start at: $49.50

Howie Mandel has remained a constant force in show business for over 30 years. Mandel is executive producer of many shows through his production company ALEVY PRODUCTIONS, which has produced the series Take It All and Howie Do It for NBC, and Mobbed for FOX, among others. Mandel also serves as one of the judges on NBC's summer hit talent competition series America's Got Talent alongside Heidi Klum, Mel B and Howard Stern. Previously, Howie received an Emmy nomination for "Outstanding Host For A Reality or Reality-Competition Program" for Deal or No Deal and a Daytime Emmy nomination for "Outstanding Game Show Host" for the syndicated version of the show.

Howie's versatile career has encompassed virtually all aspects of the entertainment spectrum, including television, film and stage. From his work on the Emmy-Award winning St. Elsewhere to the international animated children's series Bobby's World, Howie has become a mainstay of the American comedy scene. In 2009, Howie added another title to his resume, author, when he released his frank, funny, no-holds-barred memoir Here's the Deal: Don't Touch Me. The memoir that revealed his ongoing struggle with OCD and ADHD-and how it has shaped his life and career made the New York Times Bestseller list on its first week and remained on the list for several consecutive weeks.

Howie started his career on a dare in Toronto in 1979 and then one night during a trip to Los Angeles he was at the legendary Comedy Store on amateur night and Howie was coaxed by his friends to get up and try his luck. As fate would have it, there was a producer in the crowd who immediately hired him to appear on the comedy game-show Make Me Laugh. His appearance on the show led to talk show appearances, a stint as Diana Ross' opening act and eventually to the television series St. Elsewhere, where Howie spent six seasons as "Dr. Wayne Fiscus" on the award-winning NBC drama.

Howie's Emmy Award-nominated animated children series Bobby's World ran eight seasons on FOX and now appears in syndication six days a week in 65 countries. As the series' creator and executive producer, Howie was closely involved in its writing, as well as providing the voice of Bobby, Bobby's dad and other characters. Howie attributes the show's success to drawing the story lines from real life.

Howie has done countless comedy specials both on cable and network television. He has also hosted his own syndicated talk show, The Howie Mandel Show, and continues to be a mainstay on the talk-show circuit. Howie also continues to perform as many as 200 concerts a year throughout the US and Canada. Howie lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Terry, and their three children.

Terry Fator became a household name in 2007 when he won Season 2 of "America's Got Talent" with his unique brand of entertainment that combines singing, comedy and unparalleled celebrity impressions. After 25 years of honing his skills at county fairs and venues across the country, the Dallas-bred entertainer's big "AGT" win at age 42 catapulted him into the upper echelon of entertainers, landing him at No. 2 on Forbes' list of the top-earning comics behind Jerry Seinfeld in 2013.
