American singer, songwriter, actress and record producer. Born and raised in Detroit, she rose to fame as a founding member and lead singer of the vocal group The Supremes, which, during the 1960s, became Motown's most successful act and is to this day America's most successful vocal group as well as one of the world's best-selling girl groups of all time. As part of the Supremes, Ross most notably rivaled the career of The Beatles in worldwide popularity, and her success made it possible for future African American R&B and soul acts to find mainstream success. The group set a record scoring twelve number-one hit singles on the Billboard Hot 100 including the hits "Where Did Our Love Go", "Baby Love", "Come See About Me", "Stop! In the Name of Love", "You Can't Hurry Love", "You Keep Me Hangin' On", "Love Child" and "Someday We'll Be Together".

Following her departure from the Supremes in 1970, Ross released her debut solo album, Diana Ross, which contained the hits "Reach Out and Touch (Somebody's Hand)" and the number-one hit "Ain't No Mountain High Enough". She released the album Touch Me in the Morning in 1973. Its title track reached number 1, becoming her second solo hit. By 1975, the Mahogany soundtrack included her 3rd number-one hit "Theme from Mahogany (Do You Know Where You're Going To)". Her 1976 album Diana Ross included her fourth number-one hit "Love Hangover". In 1979, Ross released the album The Boss. Her 1980 album Diana which reached number 2 on the Billboard albums chart and spawned the number-one hit "Upside Down" and the international hit "I'm Coming Out". After leaving Motown, Ross achieved her sixth and final number-one hit with the duet "Endless Love". Ross also ventured into acting, with a Golden Globe Award and Academy Award nominated performance in Lady Sings the Blues (1972). She also starred in two other feature films, Mahogany (1975) and the The Wiz (1978); later acting included roles in the television films Out of Darkness (1994), for which she also was nominated for a Golden Globe Award, and Double Platinum (1999).

Beside ventures in Broadway, Ross was named the "Female Entertainer of the Century" by Billboard magazine. In 1993, the Guinness Book of World Records declared Ross the most successful female music artist in history due to her success in the United States and United Kingdom for having more hits than any female artist in the charts with a career total of 70 hit singles with her work with the Supremes and as a solo artist. Ross has sold more than 140 million records worldwide when her releases with the Supremes and as a solo artist are tallied.

In 1988, Ross was inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as member of the Supremes alongside Mary Wilson and Florence Ballard. She is the recipient of the Kennedy Center Honors in 2007. She is a 12-time Grammy nominee, later becoming the recipient of her only Grammy Award to date by being honored the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2012.

Nazareth
July 27, 2016

Doors 6 pm | Show 8 pm
Tickets Start at: $29.50

Nazareth is without doubt the biggest Rock Band to emerge from Scotland. The original members first came together in Pete Agnew's band "The Shadettes" in 1968 and changed the name to NAZARETH in 1970.

They toured with Deep Purple in the early 70's where they met Roger Glover who produced their breakthrough album RAZAMANAZ in 1973 that included the hits Broken Down Angel and Bad Bad Boy. The album was followed by Loud'n'Proud later the same year featuring the single, This Fight Tonight, which became a massive hit throughout Europe and sent the band to number 1 in Germany. It was also a huge hit in Canada where the band became the first foreign band to do a coast to coast tour of the country that wasn't just part of a North America tour. When they arrived in the country, they were told it was the fastest selling Canadian tour of all time and in fact had sold out faster than Elvis who had been there recently. As you can imagine, you can still hear a host of "faster than Elvis" jokes in Nazareth dressing rooms to this day.

Then came Rampant and the massive tour in support of its release seeing the band play 50 shows in 9 countries throughout Europe and Scandinavia. The tour was quickly followed by the release of the single My White Bicycle which gave them another chart hit in UK and Germany.

Join us for an evening with Scottish rockers Nazareth, performing all their hits including "Love Hurts", "Dream On" & "This Flight Tonight".

The Mavericks
August 6, 2016

Doors 7 pm | Show 9 pm
Tickets Start at: $39.50

The Mavericks are back. The country-steeped garage band with a Cuban American lead singer that had emerged from Miami in 1989 with their sultry debut that was equal parts innocence, intensity, and vintage influences has reunited in 2012 after an eight-year hiatus. Time has a way of melting when you're busy living life – and two decades have passed since their polyrhythmic brand of post-modern country has given the world "All You Ever Do Is Bring Me Down," "Here Comes The Rain," and "Dance The Night Away." With their new album, time melts once again, and the band that defied definitions, blurred genres, and made everybody feel good is back. The "most interesting band in the world" has captured the infectious energy and robust sound from their live shows on their new Valory Music release In Time. Songs like "Dance In The Moonlight," the Orbison-esque "Born To Be Blue," the horn-punctuated retro noir "Back In Your Arms Again," and the Tejano-esque "All Over Again" show that the Mavericks have once again found the way to make genre-defying soul music.

For Raul Malo, the lead singer with the rich supple voice that's second to only Roy Orbison in its ability to convey lonesomeness, desire, and vivre; drummer Paul Deakin and multi-instrumentalist Robert Reynolds; as well as longtime collaborator keyboardist Jerry Dale McFadden and seasoned guitarist Eddie Perez, life has become richer in terms of experience, playing acumen, and a sense of their own musicality. It has also deepened the connection between them in a way that heightens the singular chemistry that made the Grammy-winning band one of the most exciting live acts in any musical genre.

Dwight Yoakam
With Special Guest "The Dungarees"
October 21 & 22, 2016

Doors 7 pm | Show 9 pm
Tickets Start at: $59.50

With his stripped-down approach to traditional honky tonk and Bakersfield country, Dwight Yoakam helped return country music to its roots in the late '80s.

"In another time and place," sings Dwight Yoakam on the buoyant "In Another World," the opening track on Second Hand Heart, the brilliant new album that takes the pioneering honky-tonker back to Warner Bros./Reprise, where he began his major-label recording career thirty years ago. Yoakam's distinctive, supple vocals, accented with his Kentucky croon, sound as strong today as they did on his debut, 1985's Guitars, Cadillacs, Etc Etc. Its release immediately yielded hit singles, and over the course of some 21 albums – totaling more than 25 million in sales worldwide – Yoakam has continued to passionately sing, write, and play music brimming with hard country and rock roll. Second Hand Heart was self-produced by Yoakam, and reflects where he's been, but even more so, where he's going: "'In Another World' guided the rest of the album," says Yoakam. "It became its statement – about surviving and hope."
